Were Some of the Scole NHI Communicators "Ultraterrestrials"?
The non-human intelligences (NHI) presented themselves as members of a Team working in association with deceased human intelligences (DHI) when making contact and communicating with the living humans during the Scole Experiment sessions.
Could some of these NHI have been ultraterrestrials?

Ultraterrestrial Models
Paper proposes UAP and NHI might be from hidden terrestrial sources
Physicist Hal Puthoff published a 2022 paper in the Journal of Cosmology titled "Ultraterrestrial Models" proposing that unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and non-human intelligence (NHI) might originate from hidden terrestrial sources rather than distant star systems.[1]
Abstract
Under consideration in this paper are two seminal statements and their concomitants, currently unknown, as follows:
1. There is an unidentified phenomenon interacting with the current human population on Earth;
2. It is currently unknown whether the phenomenon is exclusively extraterrestrial, extradimensional, crypto-terrestrial, demonic/djinn, proto/ancient human, time-travelers, etc., or some combination or mutation of any or all of these. However, it appears highly likely that the phenomenon per se is not constituted exclusively of members of the current human population.
In this paper we address the above under the overarching theme Ultraterrestrials in order to develop a template to be matched against data at hand and that may be procured in the future.
Key words: extraterrestrials, ultraterrestrials, time-travelers, forensics, disclosure
-----
Core concepts of the paper
The Ultraterrestrial Hypothesis: The theory that advanced intelligence or sequestered local cultures (such as ancient high-tech breakaway societies or hidden groups) co-exist alongside humanity in stealth.
Alternative explanations for UAP: Puthoff outlines several potential explanations for UAP origins, including extraterrestrial visitors, interdimensional beings, time travellers, proto-humans, and ancient humans.
Observed signatures: The paper notes that if hidden groups exist, their interactions might feature nuclear or environmental messaging, misdirection using an extraterrestrial ruse, and stealth bases located underground or undersea.
Research strategy: Puthoff argues that researchers should move past passive data gathering toward proactive forensic and traffic analysis.

Who Is Hal Puthoff?
While working at SRI International*, Dr. Harold E. "Hal" Puthoff worked with and received funding from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as an external contractor and researcher.
Key details of his work with the CIA and DIA:
The Stargate Project: In the 1970s and 1980s, the CIA and the DIA funded Puthoff and physicist Russell Targ at SRI International to investigate psychic and parapsychological phenomena.
Remote viewing: Puthoff co-founded and directed the classified "remote viewing" program (later known as Stargate Project) to test whether individuals could mentally perceive distant or hidden targets for Cold War intelligence purposes.
Prior military/NSA background: Before his work at SRI, Puthoff served as a U.S. Navy officer assigned to the National Security Agency (NSA), and later worked as a civilian employee and researcher.

What is the Relationship Between Proto-humans, Ancient Humans, and Modern Humans?
Proto-humans: This term is informally or broadly used to describe extinct hominins or ancestral species leading up to Homo sapiens, which can include archaic Homo sapiens, early Homo species (like Homo erectus), or earlier close relatives such as australopithecines.
Ancient humans: This usually refers to early members of our own species (Homo sapiens) who lived tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago (such as early African or Levantine Homo sapiens), or closely related archaic humans like Neanderthals and Denisovans who walked the earth alongside our Homo sapiens ancestors.
The relationship: Proto-humans represent the evolutionary steps and branching genera (Ardipithecus, Australopithecus, Paranthropus, and early Homo) that developed over 6 million years leading to modern humans, rather than being identical to ancient Homo sapiens.
Were other humans the first victims of the sixth mass extinction?
There is a prominent and well-supported scientific theory, popularised by evolutionary biologists like Dr. Nick Longrich in The Conversation, which states that nine human species coexisted on Earth roughly 300,000 years ago.[3]
Early Homo sapiens likely caused the extinction of at least eight other human species approximately 300,000 to 10,000 years ago, marking the true beginning of the sixth mass extinction.
Longrich argues that our ancestors eliminated competing hominin populations not through an environmental disaster or a single coordinated war, but via an aggressive, millennial-long war of attrition driven by population growth and resource competition.
The spread of modern humans out of Africa has caused a sixth mass extinction, a greater than 40,000-year event extending from the disappearance of Ice Age mammals to the destruction of rainforests by civilisation today. But were other humans the first casualties?
We are a uniquely dangerous species. We hunted wooly mammoths, ground sloths and moas to extinction. We destroyed plains and forests for farming, modifying over half the planet’s land area. We altered the planet’s climate. But we are most dangerous to other human populations, because we compete for resources and land.
Key elements of the extinction
The lost species: Around 300,000 years ago, Homo sapiens coexisted with groups like Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo erectus, and several small-brained species. By 10,000 years ago, all were gone.
The violence of human nature: Fossil evidence and archaeology disprove the "peaceful noble savage" myth. Early human history shows pervasive, lethal cooperative warfare over territory.
Sapiens' evolutionary edge: Homo sapiens possessed projectile weapons, superior toolmaking capabilities, and a highly developed capacity for abstract language and large-scale social cooperation.
Evidence of interaction: Interbreeding occurred before the final displacement. Traces of archaic hominin DNA in modern humans prove modern humans encountered these species shortly before they vanished. For example, modern humans outside of Africa carry about 1 to 2 percent Neanderthal DNA in their genomes, while people with sub-Saharan African ancestry typically carry around 0.3 to 0.5 percent.

Questions Arising
- Could relationships be identified between non-humans, deceased humans, proto-humans, ancient humans, modern humans, and ultraterrestrials?
- If so, could an understanding of these connections shed any light on the questions raised by the Scole sessions—particularly concerning the evidence for "teamwork" across different types of DHI and NHI communicators and their apparent mutual concern for living humans?
- If humans are indeed a "uniquely dangerous species" and are on the brink of spreading out into the galaxy or beyond our own "dimension", should our neighbour (non-human) species be concerned?
- Is it possible that non-human species are taking more of an interest in humans now because they have concerns that we might soon be a danger to them?
