1. SERIES OVERVIEW

Series 14-COR (Correspondence) is designated for the preservation of communications related to the Scole Archive's content, history, and external engagement. While correspondence specifically regarding the technical administration of the archive itself remains in Series 01-ADM, all other substantive communications are categorised here to assist researchers in tracing the provenance and external reception of the Scole phenomena.

2. SUB-FOLDER DEFINITIONS

To maintain a logical and searchable record, Series 14-COR is divided into the following sub-folders:

- 14-COR-01-Feedback-and-Recollections: This folder is reserved for retrospective accounts, personal feedback, and contemporary recollections provided by Scole Group members, witnesses, or participants. It serves as a repository for "living history" that supplements the primary session logs and transcripts.

- 14-COR-02-Scientific-and-Institutional: This folder contains correspondence with academic bodies, researchers, and organisations such as the Society for Psychical Research (SPR) and PRISM. This includes collaboration requests, formal critiques, and technical exchanges.

- 14-COR-03-General-Inquiries: This folder captures communication from the general public, independent researchers, or interested parties. It tracks the broad interest in the Scole work and provides a record of frequently asked questions or general observations from outside the professional scientific community.

- 14-COR-04-Media-and-Publishing: This folder is dedicated to communications regarding the dissemination of Scole-related information. This includes correspondence regarding books (e.g., "Witnessing the Impossible"), television documentaries, radio interviews, and the distribution of Scole Bulletins.

3. FILING PROCEDURES

When archiving a new item of correspondence, the Archive-ID should follow the sequential numbering for the series (e.g., Scole-14-COR-001) to ensure correct sorting within the Master Progress Log. Researchers should refer to this guidance before reclassifying administrative records to ensure content-heavy correspondence is correctly situated within the 14-COR hierarchy.
