1. SERIES OVERVIEW
The 16-SUP series is dedicated to "Support"—encompassing the administrative, financial, operational, and commercial frameworks that sustain The Scole Archive. This includes funding mechanisms, web asset management, merchandising records, and legal licensing agreements.
2. FILING AND FOLDER STRUCTURE
Files must be organised into themed third-level subfolders to maintain strict categorical clarity:
- SUP-01-Financial/ (For donor records, funding platform configurations, and licensing/loan agreements)
- SUP-02-Web-Assets/ (For domain registrations, hosting configurations, and structural web data)
- SUP-03-Merchandising/ (For print-on-demand platform setups, product catalogues, and vendor records)
3. NAMING CONVENTIONS
- FILENAME: All files must clearly identify their exact purpose and version. Format: Scole-16-SUP-[Subfolder Number]-[Subject]-[Sequence].txt (e.g., Scole-16-SUP-01-Exhibition-Loan-Agreement-Template-001.txt).
- ARCHIVE-ID: Support IDs do not use the "GUI" (Guidance) designator. Instead, they use a three-letter mnemonic based on the subfolder category (FIN for Financial, WEB for Web Assets, MER for Merchandising). Example: Scole-16-SUP-FIN-001.
4. CONTENT STYLE
Documents in this series should utilise flowing text for all paragraphs rather than hard line breaks, ensuring maximum compatibility across different text editors and operating systems. Standardised legal or financial templates should maintain their structural headings and signature blocks.
