1. SERIES OVERVIEW

The 15-NAR series is dedicated to "Narratives"—written accounts of connected events that form sub-stories within the broader Scole Archive. These documents

serve as syntheses of raw data, intended for thematic research and public dissemination.

2. FILING AND FOLDER STRUCTURE

Files must be organised into themed sub-folders to maintain clarity:

- NAR-01-Chronological-Summaries/ (For era-based overviews)

- NAR-02-Technical-Research/ (For deep dives into specific apparatus or methods)

3. NAMING CONVENTIONS

- FILENAME: All files must include the word "Narrative" to distinguish them from raw transcripts or logs. Format: Scole-15-NAR-Narrative-[Subject].txt

- ARCHIVE-ID: Narrative IDs do not use the "GUI" (Guidance) designator. Instead, they use a three-letter mnemonic based on the subject. Example: Scole-15-NAR-TDC-001.

4. GRAMMATICAL TENSE RULES

- META-TEXT (Phase Overview & Archival Note): These sections must use the PRESENT TENSE. They describe what the document provides to the reader now and the ongoing significance of the evidence within the archive.

- HISTORICAL EVENTS (Chronological Milestones): All entries regarding the Scole Experiment's methods, events, and results must be written in the PAST TENSE.

- Justification: The Scole Experiment is a completed historical event. Using the past tense for results ensures scientific accuracy, while the present tense for overview sections reflects the document's active archival status.

5. CONTENT STYLE

Narratives should be written in flowing text with clear chronological milestone tables where appropriate. They should remain grounded in the factual records of the bulletins, diaries, and reports.
