The Scole Curator Rules of Engagement
As the appointed curators of the Scole Archive, our objective is to digitise, index, and freely present the data from the 464 sessions of The Scole Experiment. We make no claims, demand no belief, and draw no final conclusions on behalf of the reader. We ask that visitors engaging with this archive or our connected platforms adhere to the following principles:
1. Data Before Dismissal
The Scole Archive collection contains over 1,000 hours of multi-faceted data across 464 x ≈2-hour experimental sessions collected in six countries over a five year period 1993-1998. Constructive debate is welcome, but critiques should be grounded in the primary source material provided within the archive, rather than assumptions, uninformed opinions, or generalised scepticism.
2. Objective and Respectful Discourse
When discussing the deceased human intelligences (DHI), non-human intelligences (NHI), or the human participants and researchers, commentary must remain respectful. Personal attacks, trolling, or aggressive ideological arguments will not be entertained.
3. Curator Boundaries
We are actively working as two volunteer archivists to process a massive vault of historical data. Our time and energy must remain focused on digitisation and transcription. Therefore, we do not engage in circular debates or defend the data. We simply present the data for independent evaluation.
