The ScoleTV Title Guidelines
The Sequence Prefix Rule
Every ScoleTV video must begin with its designated sequence identifier to maintain the master archive order.
Long-form Videos: Begin with a "V" and number (e.g., V1 | )
Shorts: Begin with an "S" and number (e.g., S1 | )
The 100-Character Capacity Rule
YouTube allows up to 100 characters. To maximise VidIQ SEO ratings and provide rich context for viewers watching on the video page, utilise as much of this character limit as possible.
The Rule: Front-load the "Gold" (the most vital SEO terms) in the first 3 to 5 words to catch mobile viewers before truncation, but use the remaining runway to build a highly descriptive title.
The Nested Quotes Rule
Always use double quotes (" ") for quoted text or specific terms (e.g., "the Spirit World").
The Exception: If a quote appears inside a block of text that is already enclosed in double quotes, use single quotes for the inner quote (e.g., "The voice called, 'Tom'").
The CTA (Call to Action) Golden Rule
Do not overwhelm the viewer. Pick ONE or TWO primary CTAs to leave in the final description based on your goal for the video, and delete the rest.
The 10-Second Pre-Publish Checklist
[ ] Does the title start with the correct V-X | or S-X | prefix?
[ ] Does the title front-load key SEO terms while utilising the 100-character capacity?
[ ] Is the title accurate to the video? (No clickbait).
