Description from YouTube

Robin Foy is possibly the most experienced and successful organizer and promoter of physical mediumship circles in the last century. He is the founder of the Noah's Ark Society as well as the Scole Group. He is author of In Pursuit of Physical Mediumship and Witnessing the Impossible.

Here he shares his insider's view of the amazing project that has come to be known as the Scole Experiment, possibly constituting the greatest variety and intensity of unbelievable physical phenomena in the history of parapsychology and psychical research. He describes the cohesion that developed between the living human members of the group, discarnate spirit helpers, and even beings he describes as extra-terrestrials.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is a past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology; and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that Association for his contributions to the field of human consciousness exploration. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "Parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, 1980).

Kevin Knuth Reveals 5000G UAP Accelerations – Why Science Ignores It

=====

Summary (VidIQ AI)

00:00  The host introduces Dr. Kevin Knuth, a professor of physics at the University at Albany SUNY, highlighting his background in machine learning, neuroscience, astrophysics, and information physics, and his respected voice in UAP research.

00:54  Knuth recounts how a cattle mutilation incident in Montana in 1988, coupled with UFO sightings and a physics professor's casual mention of UFOs shutting down nuclear missiles at Malmstrom Air Force Base, sparked his initial, albeit skeptical, interest in UAPs.

04:47  Knuth describes how, in 2015, while preparing a lecture on astrobiology, he stumbled upon Robert Hastings' 2010 news conferences about UFOs shutting down nuclear missiles at Malmstrom Air Force Base, which validated the earlier anecdote and prompted him to seriously investigate UAPs.

09:45  Knuth shares a personal anecdote about his wife's uncle, a former Air Force member stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in 1971, who casually confirmed that UFOs shutting down nuclear missiles "used to happen all the time," highlighting the long-standing and unaddressed security breach.

14:21  Knuth explains the methodology behind his 2019 paper, co-authored with Robert Powell and Peter Reali, which calculated the minimum acceleration of the Nimitz "Tic Tac" UAP to be 5,000 Gs, reaching a top speed of 40,000 mph, a calculation accessible even to high school physics students.

26:39  Knuth discusses the lack of sonic booms and the immense energy required for the UAPs' observed accelerations and decelerations, noting that if the kinetic energy were converted to heat, it would be equivalent to 250 Tomahawk cruise missiles exploding, yet no such phenomena are reported.

27:44  Knuth details an ongoing case involving sonar data from a New Zealand frigate that tracked a 100-foot diameter, 800-foot long object moving at 3,000 mph underwater with 50 Gs of acceleration, highlighting the paradox of its interaction with water (detected by sonar but causing no displacement).

31:10  Knuth speculates on potential explanations for UAP phenomena, such as inertial mass reduction or localised spacetime warping (like Alcubierre warp metrics), and questions the atmospheric effects of such technologies, including the lack of reported atmospheric disturbances around alleged wormholes.

39:06  Knuth describes the genesis of his 2025 paper, "The New Science of Unidentified Aerospace Undersea Phenomena," which grew from a few paragraphs into a comprehensive review with 32 international co-authors, demonstrating the global scientific interest in UAPs and the collaborative effort to understand them.

46:01  Knuth highlights the significance of universities, like U Albany with its Project X, supporting UAP research, emphasising their "boots on the ground" approach to collecting hard scientific data, including deploying 24/7 cameras at known UAP hotspots.

48:19  Knuth asserts that some UAPs, particularly craft-like objects with measured speeds and accelerations, demonstrate capabilities beyond human technology, suggesting a "non-human craft" hypothesis is a valid consideration, while acknowledging the need for further taxonomic understanding of UAP types.

51:33  Knuth discusses the "woo" or paranormal aspects of UAP encounters, suggesting that unexpected commonalities in witness testimonies, such as the "baby to hold" phenomenon reported by 60% of alleged alien abductees, should be taken seriously as potential information, even if currently inexplicable.

55:02  Knuth proposes that some paranormal or supernatural phenomena might be aspects of physical reality not yet understood by science, similar to how ancient Romans viewed electricity and magnetism, and that UAP technology could be utilising such "new physics".

57:13  Knuth connects neuroscience to UAP encounters, noting evidence of strong electric and magnetic fields oscillating at 12 hertz, which could induce alpha rhythms in the brain, potentially altering perception and explaining some non-physical aspects of witness reports.

01:00:07  Knuth reflects on how studying UAPs has "trashed his whole worldview," leading him to question his previous understanding of the universe and to be more open-minded to extraordinary claims, recognising that many phenomena previously dismissed as impossible might hold elements of truth.

01:03:17  Knuth shares his fascination with the "telepathy tapes" involving autistic individuals, finding inspiration in the idea that they might possess a rich, telepathic inner life, and critiques the "dumb" excuses often offered by skeptics and denialists for UAP phenomena.

Some Members of the Communicator Team at Scole Identified as Extraterrestrial or Interdimensional NHI

During The Scole Experiment, a proportion of the members of the Communicator Team identified as non-human intelligences (NHI). They presented as either extraterrestrial or interdimensional.

In some sessions, multiple witnesses have testified to observing self-illuminating, miniature, anomalous craft materialising, hovering, and flying about within the experimental room itself.

There are similarities between these anomalous events at Scole and other UAP events reported worldwide relating to "The Phenomenon".

Nick Kyle: Scole Participant Interview Transcript Extract

The transcript below is from an Unravelling the Universe YouTube channel video in which the interviewer asks Nick Kyle–a former president of the Scottish Society for Psychical Research (SSPR)–about his experiences of UFOs (now known as UAP) during the Scole experiment sessions he attended as a participant and independent witness.[1]

[Timestamp 01:08:55]

Unravelling the Universe:

I think when you when you visited [the Scole Experiment] a UFO materialised. Like a kind of smaller craft in the room. Can you go into a bit more detail on that?

Nick Kyle:

The shapes I described to you were triangular or with curved edges and bulbous ends and so on. Nothing that I could recognise [distinguish?] really from everyday flying objects, even if they've been miniaturised.

But the craft that I described as the disc-like flying saucer, was exactly the typical shape.

Imagine a circular plate with raised edges. Another smaller plate placed on top of it. So you get the outer edge and then top of it an inner dome and then I think there was a tiny little Dome on top of that but you got this classic UFO shape.

And there were lights going around it. And there were lights on top of it shining out.

And underneath I was describing–for this object and for other objects–the lights targeting perhaps the face of a sitter [participant] and, let's say, a quartz crystal and maybe a bowl on the coffee table.

And, as the UFO went round with its flickering lights, the beams never left the targeted objects or face of the sitter.

And it didn't last long. I'm guessing, very few minutes, two maybe.

It  would have been about, maybe 14 inches [across]. It's difficult to say because you have no frame of reference.

It's a darkened room, and this thing is providing the light. So you you're not sure exactly how close it is to you or how far away but it was a an ordinary-sized room and I would have said more than a foot but less than 18 inches.

Other objects might have been longer, I mentioned the tubes, you know, they would be longer.

But other objects that were maybe towing something underneath in total they would take up more of the airspace, so if you  add on the things that were underneath to the object you might be talking about two feet or something.

SUBJECT:     Summary of "The Spiritual Scientist" Vol 1, No 1 (December1994)

DATE:        01/04/2026

---

1. ISSUE OVERVIEW

This inaugural issue, published in October 1994, serves as the complimentary introductory edition and official mouthpiece for the New Spiritual Science Foundation (NSSF). It outlines the foundation’s primary mission to provide regular updates on energy-based physical phenomena and reports on the experiments conducted by groups such as the Scole Experimental Group.

2. KEY SUBJECTS & PHENOMENA

* Foundational Goals: The NSSF aims to demonstrate new energy-based technology from the spirit world that provides tangible, objective proof of human survival beyond death.

* Scope of Phenomena: The bulletin introduces the types of manifestations regularly achieved at Scole, including independent lights, spiritual energy voices, psychic photography, and the materialisation of objects (apports).

* Evidential Nature: Emphasises that all reports are based on factual experience rather than fantasy. It notes that physical results like photographs and apported items are preserved for scrutiny and that phenomena can be witnessed by any person present during sittings.

* First Apport: References the foundational Churchill Crown coin apport received at the start of the experimental work.

* Publication Logistics: Announces the transition from this free issue to a subscription-based quarterly model to fund production and the eventual evolution into a professional format.

3. ARCHIVAL CONTEXT

This document is the cornerstone of the foundation's public record. It defines the "Spiritual Science" approach—distinguished from traditional spiritualism by its focus on technical development and scientific investigation of physical manifestations. It is essential for researchers tracking the "Scole Protocols" in their infancy. It establishes the group's intent to provide "tangible" and "real" physical evidence using the scientific method. It predates the formal SPR investigation and serves as a baseline for the phenomena's development.

P5 | The Scole Experiment and the Ultraterrestrial Hypothesis

By Grant Solomon & Jane Solomon

Curator Post Reference: CP-00005

Were Some of the Scole NHI Communicators "Ultraterrestrials"?

The non-human intelligences (NHI) presented themselves as members of a Team working in association with deceased human intelligences (DHI) when making contact and communicating with the living humans during the Scole Experiment sessions.

Could some of these NHI have been ultraterrestrials?

=====

Abstract in Ultraterrestrial Models paper by Hal Putoff in the Journal of Cosmology
Journal of Cosmology V29N1

=====

Ultraterrestrial Models

Paper proposes UAP and NHI might be from hidden terrestrial sources

Physicist Hal Puthoff published a 2022 paper in the Journal of Cosmology titled "Ultraterrestrial Models" proposing that unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and non-human intelligence (NHI) might originate from hidden terrestrial sources rather than distant star systems.[1]

Abstract

Under consideration in this paper are two seminal statements and their concomitants, currently unknown, as follows:

1. There is an unidentified phenomenon interacting with the current human population on Earth;

2. It is currently unknown whether the phenomenon is exclusively extraterrestrial, extradimensional, crypto-terrestrial, demonic/djinn, proto/ancient human, time-travelers, etc., or some combination or mutation of any or all of these. However, it appears highly likely that the phenomenon per se is not constituted exclusively of members of the current human population.

In this paper we address the above under the overarching theme Ultraterrestrials in order to develop a template to be matched against data at hand and that may be procured in the future.

Key words: extraterrestrials, ultraterrestrials, time-travelers, forensics, disclosure

-----

Core concepts of the paper

The Ultraterrestrial Hypothesis: The theory that advanced intelligence or sequestered local cultures (such as ancient high-tech breakaway societies or hidden groups) co-exist alongside humanity in stealth.

Alternative explanations for UAP: Puthoff outlines several potential explanations for UAP origins, including extraterrestrial visitors, interdimensional beings, time travellers, proto-humans, and ancient humans.

Observed signatures: The paper notes that if hidden groups exist, their interactions might feature nuclear or environmental messaging, misdirection using an extraterrestrial ruse, and stealth bases located underground or undersea.

Research strategy: Puthoff argues that researchers should move past passive data gathering toward proactive forensic and traffic analysis.

-----

Scole Archive researchers may wish to pursue more information about:

  • Puthoff's past work with SRI International on remote viewing
  • The distinction between crypto-terrestrial and extraterrestrial theories
  • Specific arguments made in the Journal of Cosmology publication

=====

Who Is Hal Puthoff?

While working at SRI International*, Dr. Harold E. "Hal" Puthoff worked with and received funding from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as an external contractor and researcher.

Key details of his work with the CIA and DIA:

The Stargate Project: In the 1970s and 1980s, the CIA and the DIA funded Puthoff and physicist Russell Targ at SRI International to investigate psychic and parapsychological phenomena.

Remote viewing: Puthoff co-founded and directed the classified "remote viewing" program (later known as Stargate Project) to test whether individuals could mentally perceive distant or hidden targets for Cold War intelligence purposes.

Prior military/NSA background: Before his work at SRI, Puthoff served as a U.S. Navy officer assigned to the National Security Agency (NSA), and later worked as a civilian employee and researcher.

=====

What is the Relationship Between Proto-humans, Ancient Humans, and Modern Humans?

Proto-humans: This term is informally or broadly used to describe extinct hominins or ancestral species leading up to Homo sapiens, which can include archaic Homo sapiens, early Homo species (like Homo erectus), or earlier close relatives such as australopithecines.

Ancient humans: This usually refers to early members of our own species (Homo sapiens) who lived tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago (such as early African or Levantine Homo sapiens), or closely related archaic humans like Neanderthals and Denisovans who walked the earth alongside our Homo sapiens ancestors.

The relationship: Proto-humans represent the evolutionary steps and branching genera (Ardipithecus, Australopithecus, Paranthropus, and early Homo) that developed over 6 million years leading to modern humans, rather than being identical to ancient Homo sapiens.

Were other humans the first victims of the sixth mass extinction?

There is a prominent and well-supported scientific theory, popularised by evolutionary biologists like Dr. Nick Longrich in The Conversation, which states that nine human species coexisted on Earth roughly 300,000 years ago.[3]

Early Homo sapiens likely caused the extinction of at least eight other human species approximately 300,000 to 10,000 years ago, marking the true beginning of the sixth mass extinction.

Longrich argues that our ancestors eliminated competing hominin populations not through an environmental disaster or a single coordinated war, but via an aggressive, millennial-long war of attrition driven by population growth and resource competition.

The spread of modern humans out of Africa has caused a sixth mass extinction, a greater than 40,000-year event extending from the disappearance of Ice Age mammals to the destruction of rainforests by civilisation today. But were other humans the first casualties?

We are a uniquely dangerous species. We hunted wooly mammoths, ground sloths and moas to extinction. We destroyed plains and forests for farming, modifying over half the planet’s land area. We altered the planet’s climate. But we are most dangerous to other human populations, because we compete for resources and land.

Key elements of the extinction

The lost species: Around 300,000 years ago, Homo sapiens coexisted with groups like Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo erectus, and several small-brained species. By 10,000 years ago, all were gone.

The violence of human nature: Fossil evidence and archaeology disprove the "peaceful noble savage" myth. Early human history shows pervasive, lethal cooperative warfare over territory.

Sapiens' evolutionary edge: Homo sapiens possessed projectile weapons, superior toolmaking capabilities, and a highly developed capacity for abstract language and large-scale social cooperation.

Evidence of interaction: Interbreeding occurred before the final displacement. Traces of archaic hominin DNA in modern humans prove modern humans encountered these species shortly before they vanished. For example, modern humans outside of Africa carry about 1 to 2 percent Neanderthal DNA in their genomes, while people with sub-Saharan African ancestry typically carry around 0.3 to 0.5 percent.

=====

Questions Arising

  • Could relationships be identified between non-humans, deceased humans, proto-humans, ancient humans, modern humans, and ultraterrestrials?
  • If so, could an understanding of these connections shed any light on the questions raised by the Scole sessions—particularly concerning the evidence for "teamwork" across different types of DHI and NHI communicators and their apparent mutual concern for living humans?

  • If humans are indeed a "uniquely dangerous species" and are on the brink of spreading out into the galaxy or beyond our own "dimension", should our neighbour (non-human) species be concerned?
  • Is it possible that non-human species are taking more of an interest in humans now because they have concerns that we might soon be a danger to them?

The New Science of Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena (UAP)

In 2025, an international team of 33 scientists published a comprehensive review article on the "New Science of Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena (UAP)" in the renowned journal Progress in Aerospace Sciences. The lead author was Prof. Kevin H. Knuth from the University at Albany.

The publication marked an important step forward in the scientific exploration of previously unexplained aerial and underwater phenomena. In their article, the authors summarised around 20 historical government studies from various countries as well as current research projects, emphasising the need for systematic scientific investigation of UAP.

As modern science begins to rigorously study Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena (UAP), we are sharing foundational academic papers that parallel the phenomena documented at Scole.

Highlights

• UAP, formerly known as UFOs, are a long-standing global phenomenon, which have not only been observed by professional engineers, scientists, and astronomers, but have also been studied by them.

• There exist today a number of serious academic and private efforts to scientifically study UAP using the equivalent of multi-messenger astronomy, which involves a diverse array of scientific instrumentation.

Abstract

After decades of dismissal and secrecy, it has become clear that a significant number of the world’s governments take Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena (UAP), formerly known as Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), seriously—yet still seem to know little about them. As a result, these phenomena are increasingly attracting the attention of scientists around the world, some of whom have recently formed research efforts to monitor and scientifically study UAP. In this paper, we review and summarize approximately 20 historical government studies dating from 1933 to the present (in Scandinavia, WWII, US, Canada, France, Russia, China), several historical private research studies (France, UK, US), and both recent and current scientific research efforts (Ireland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, US). In doing so, our objective is to clarify the existing global and historical scientific narrative around UAP. Studies range from field station development and deployment to the collection and analysis of witness reports from around the world. We dispel the common misconception that UAPs are an American phenomenon and show that UAP can be, and have been, scientifically investigated. Our aim here is to enable future studies to draw on the great depth of prior documented experience.

P2 | Introduction to The Scole Experiment Archive

By Grant Solomon & Jane Solomon

Curator Post Reference: CP-00002

Welcome to The Scole Experiment Digital Archive

Between 1993 and 1998, a dedicated group of researchers conducted 464 experimental sessions exploring Methods to facilitate repeatable contact and communication with the Afterlife.

Results included a wide variety of anomalous phenomena and a number of unexpected communicators.

This archive serves as the central hub for a collection of multi-faceted data encompassing technical apparatus development and documented communications with deceased human intelligences (DHI) and non-human intelligences (NHI).

The collection contains over 1,000 hours of data across 464 x ≈2-hour experimental sessions gathered in six countries and witnessed by hundreds of participants during that five year period.

As the curators of the Scole Archive, our ongoing objective is to digitise, index, and freely present this historical data for independent evaluation.

We make no claims, demand no belief, and draw no final conclusions on behalf of the reader. Our focus remains strictly on meticulous preservation and public accessibility.

The Archival Framework

To effectively manage the vast scope of this collection, we have implemented the Scole Archive Naming Standard (SANS).

All digital (and physical) assets are strictly cross-referenced and categorised into 16 primary series folders.

This naming system (taxonomy) categorises everything from original session audio and transcripts to technical research and participant and communicator profiles.

Navigating The Archive

To understand the complete structural layout of the folders and files, researchers and visitors are encouraged to use the Scole Archive Structure and About Scole Archive pages—as well as the Archive Series Labels—located in the site navigation menus.

As original documents, audio files, and curator summaries are cleared for online publication, they will be logged sequentially on this site and permanently mapped back to their respective SANS directories.

Explore the Scole Archive Data in Three Formats

Introductory: Short-form content to encourage engagement from those new to Scole.

Guided: Explanatory deep-dives based on our decades of knowledge and experience.

Raw: Unedited archival data for independent researchers to interpret for themselves.

P1 | How and Why NHI Communicator "Varenheeric" Shut Down The Scole Experiment

By Grant Solomon & Jane Solomon

Curator Post Reference: CP-00001

A Commanding NHI Communicator Called "Varrenheeric" Shut Down The Scole Experiment | Session 464

During Session 464, the Scole Experiment was abruptly shut down by an authoritative communicator presenting as a high-level non-human intelligence (NHI) and identifying as "Varrenheeric".

Varrenheeric was apparently giving the human participants—the four members of the Scole Experimental Group (the Group)—no choice in the matter.

The Scole "Vortex" Has "Attracted Experimenters from Your Future"

Jarhadwe. Jarhadwe Scole. This is Varrenheeric calling you. I hope you can hear me.

Your experimental work with your spirit team has created a vortex, or doorway. It is this vortex that has attracted experimenters from your future.

This means that every time your four spiritual energies are together, and you try to re-establish communication with your team, the future time experimenters try to make their own links with your time.

This interference cannot be allowed to continue.

We ask that you co-operate by not attempting to contact your spirit team.

We must tell you that all the work at Scole was very important.

The links that were made have already enabled interdimensional energies and wisdom to assist the changes to future earth consciousness.

Therefore, this final mission is to seal the doorway that has been created, and to end ALL communications - I repeat - to end ALL communications.

I would like to thank you for co-operating with us.

This is Varrenheeric and I must end this last communication with you now.

Jarhadwe. Vit dew tic. Tac tic tar jar.

Peace to you all, now and in your future.

Jarhadwe. Vit dew tic.

The Scole-Edison Trans-Dimensional Communication (TDC) Device | "Germanium Receptor"

Varrenheeric's audio communication was made possible by the Scole-Edison trans-dimensional communication (TDC) device, also known as the "Germanium Receptor" due to the crystalline semi-conductor material used in its construction.

This powerless device, incorporating a germanium crystal "cube" under screw-pressure and two tightly wound copper coils, had a connecting wire and jack to the microphone input socket of a battery-powered magnetic cassette tape player-recorder (tape machine) of the type commercially available in the 1990s.

The tape player-recorder "amplifier" and video camera

For the Project Alice experiments, the microphone on the tape machine had been removed so that it could not pick up ambient sound or conventional signals such as radio.

The machine functioned as an amplifier of sounds facilitated by the TDC device.

For this particular experimental session, the tape machine was also connected, via a second wire, to the external microphone input socket of a video camera.

The human engineers

The TDC device had been constructed by the Scole Group in association with two distinguished engineers, also Scole participants, Professor Emeritus Arthur Ellison of England and Dr. Walter Schnittger of Germany.

Professor Ellison later co-wrote The Scole Report, a scholarly, 300-page, peer-reviewed, refereed Proceedings of the SPR, and Dr. Schnittger participated in 30 Scole experiment sessions—assisting, observing, and recording.

Who Designed the Scole-Edison TDC Device?

The Group and engineers were guided to make changes to their construction and usage of the TDC device by a circuit diagram and explanatory text instructions.

How were the circuit diagram and text provided?

The diagram and instructions were "transmitted" onto a 35 mm Polaroid film roll.

This was still in its factory-sealed, light-proof container when it was placed, at the start of the session, on the central, circular table around which the experimenting group sat.

"Many minds" had worked together to direct their thoughts, with the stated intention of rearranging the atoms and molecules on the film to communicate a message.

Complex imagery was "received" on the film roll, this time in a "panoramic" format along the length of the film rather than in individual frames.

Did Thomas Alva Edison Sign and Send the T A E film?

The originating communicator of the diagram and instructions had also left a three-letter signature, "T A E", on the right-hand end of the image on the film.

This communicator self-identified as a deceased-human intelligence (DHI), formerly known when living as the prolific American inventor, Thomas Alva Edison.

Was the T A E film anomalous?

Photography means "drawing with light".

In traditional photography, chemical film "catches" photons bouncing off a subject.

Without photons hitting the film, the image stays completely dark in normal circumstances.

Since the experimental room was in complete darkness at the time of the "transmission", imagery of any kind on the film was considered to be anomalous phenomena by the Scole Group.

Did the living Edison have an interest in instrumental communication with the Afterlife?

It is a matter of historical record that Thomas Edison said he was building a device for communicating with the Afterlife when he was alive.

The American Magazine | October 1920

In an interview conducted by B.C. Forbes for the October 1920 issue of The American Magazine, Edison stated that he was working on an apparatus to test whether human personalities that have left Earth could communicate with the living using scientific instruments rather than human instruments or "mediums".

Scientific American | October 1920

Following intense media interest, Edison gave a follow-up interview to Scientific American later that month to clarify his hypothesis: he believed life consists of indestructible microscopic "units" that scatter after bodily death and might produce subtle physical vibrations detectable by delicate apparatus.

No known records of Edison's 1920s apparatus

There are no known plans, notes, or equipment relating to the apparatus the inventor said he was working on during his lifetime.

"The Realms Beyond"

However, when Edison’s memoirs were published in 1948, seventeen years after his death, they included a chapter titled "The Realms Beyond" in which he described his ideas on using technology to communicate with spirits.

Who Were the Scole "Communicator Team"? | Cooperating DHI and NHI

Five years and hundreds of experiments across six countries earlier, regular contact between the Group and their Communicator Team (the Team) had been established during the early sessions.

Deceased-human intelligences | DHI

The Team's representatives said the Team was made up of "many minds" who continued to exist in a variety of Afterlife environments and conditions following their physical deaths after a life, or in some cases "many lives", on Earth

Most of of the Team–"thousands" of them–remained in the background and did not communicate directly or identify themselves.

Whilst these communicators from the Afterlife have traditionally been referred to as "spirits", the Team said they wanted to move away from the old names towards words more suitable for the new "Spiritual Science" they were introducing at Scole (see below).

We therefore refer to this type of communicator in the Scole Archive–whether they lived on Earth a long time ago or more recently–as "deceased-human intelligences" or "DHI", to distinguish them from the other category of Team members.

Non-human intelligences | NHI

During later sessions, when conditions were right and both sides were "ready", the Group had been introduced to these other members of the Team.

They identified as non-human intelligences (NHI).

"Extraterrestrial" and "Interdimensional" NHI

Based on our understanding of the data thus far, some NHI could be defined as "extraterrestrial", whilst others might be described as "interdimensional".

Some NHI, whether presenting as extraterrestrial or interdimensional, had a physical body with what we humans would understand as limbs and sense organs when they physically joined the Group in the experimental room at Scole.

Others had an apparently simpler "container" for their consciousness, with one, "Sharness Darti", describing "himself" (they had "male and female for balance and harmony" in their "society") as a an empty cell, like a bubble within a structure that makes up a whole.

Is "Thought" a highly efficient means of communication between diverse intelligent beings?

The practical means of contact and communication between bodied and non-bodied entities across vast distances of space and time—and "dimensions"—raises questions about means, methods, and procedures.

"Thought" may be the most efficient and fastest means of contact and communication between diverse intelligent, conscious beings in these many environments of existence since thoughts can instantly travel to and "be" anywhere and anytime in a single universe or multiple universes.

Did "Telepathy" play a part in the Scole Experiment?

Telepathy and the general relevance of minds, thoughts, and dreams are common themes in the Scole Archive data for both DHI and NHI communicators.

There has been considerable data on telepathy collected by human researchers and we will be referring to this in more detail as the archive expands.

Project Alice "Video Camera and Mirror" Experiments | A "Modern Psychomanteum"?

The Scole Group had for some time been coordinating with the Team on a "modern psychomanteum".

A psychomanteum is a mirror-gazing method originally used by ancient Greeks to contact the dead.

Psi Encyclopaedia confirms that shamanic mirror-gazing traditions are found as far apart as Siberia, Madagascar, North America, and areas of Africa.

The version proposed by the Team to the Group at Scole incorporated either one or two angled mirrors and a video camera on a tripod intended to be an artificial eye for the mirror-gazing function.

The Group were also asked by the Team to spend varying amounts of time at the beginning of the Project Alice sessions sitting in front of the mirror and gazing into it in a state of meditation, prior to the video camera taking over the mirror-gazing function,

A New "Spiritual Science" and a New "Creative Energy" to Power It

The Team had, during the early sessions, explained to the Scole Group that a new form of "creative energy" was being employed at Scole to facilitate and "power" experiments in "Spiritual Science".

Spiritual Science was explained to the Group as "the science of Life and the Afterlife", the methods and results of which could help humanity considerably if learned and correctly employed.

The right conditions had to be created during Scole experimental sessions for the contact, communication, and related anomalous phenomena facilitated by the methods of spiritual science to work.

Sound vibrations

"Helpful" sound vibrations were provided by Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor, a tune referred to by the Team as "spiritually inspired".

Classical elements

Cardinally aligned crystals, ambient air, a single lighted candle, and water in a bowl created the "four classical elements" (earth, air, fire, and water), which the Team said helped facilitate contact and communication with "far distant dimensions".

How did Varenheeric communicate?

During Session 464, when the Scole-Edison TDC device was connected by a wire to the microphone-less tape machine acting as an amplifier, and the machine was in turn connected to the video camera, this setup enabled Varrenheeric to transmit messages that synchronised his lip movements on the video tape with the words he was saying on the audio tape .

What Was the Interference by "Experimenters from Your Future"?

Varrenheeric had previously explained that the vortex, portal, or unique interdimensional doorway created by the Scole experiment sessions had attracted "experimenters from your future who are exploring time".

A "crystalline time probe"

The interference was identified as an interdimensional time-wave pattern generated by a "crystalline time probe".

These were "early" experiments in time by "genetically modified" humans in the future of "your timeline".

Through perfectly synchronised audio and video, Varrenheeric said the future experimenters were using the Scole vortex to try and make their own links.

The Scole portal has been opened too wide

This situation could not be allowed to continue as it was too far ahead in time.

The original intention had been to open the portal a few years ahead of the 1990s.

The portal had unintentionally been opened far beyond that.

All parties to Scole were experimenting, not just the humans

This illustrates the Team's often-made point that The Scole Experiment was experimental for all parties: human, deceased human, and non-human.

As such, all parties were learning and all experiments were subject to the usual trial and error which accompanies experimentation everywhere.

Miscalculations and other mistakes had been made, and the Scole Experiment sessions therefore had to end to avoid further consequences.

When Did The Scole Experiment End?

The Scole Group had to make the ultimate sacrifice when complying with Varrenheeric's instruction to seal the doorway he called a "vortex".

After five years and 464 sessions, with that final "Jarhadwe" sign-off, The Scole Experiment was at an end.

The date was 6 November 1998.

The four members of the Scole Group were devastated to lose contact with the Communicator Team who had become "like family" to them.

We Invite You to Join Us on Our Journey Exploring the Scole Archive Data

Our aim in collecting and sharing the Scole Archive is to show and tell the story of the Scole Experiment from Session 1 on 4 October 1993 to Session 464 in 1998, by publishing as much of the data as possible.

A data-driven approach

Our approach is data-driven.

We try not to dismiss anything so that we are less likely to miss anything.

We are discovering new things all the time and are open to changing our minds.

Sharing "Introductory", "Guided", and "Raw" data formats

By curating and universally sharing all the archive data in three formats (introductory, guided, and raw), our aim is that others will have an opportunity to study all the data for themselves and form their own opinions.

As new data is revealed, in accordance with the requirements of the scientific method, if we do express an opinion on it, we are fully prepared to be wrong today and righter tomorrow.

We accept that interpretations of, and opinions on, the data may vary

We accept that others may have different interpretations and opinions about the implications of the data.

Scole Curator Rules of Engagement

However, our specific requirement for engagement with us is that all interpretations, opinions, and comments are informed by a close study of the Scole Archive data.

See our "Scole Curator Rules of Engagement" page (linked in the "Cross-References & Links" section below) for more detail.

Please accept our invitation to join us on the journey

This first Curator Post serves as an invitation to everyone to join us on our journey of exploration into the Scole Archive.

We look forward to sharing the data with you.

=====

ScoleTV

Our ScoleTV channel will be a major platform for sharing the Scole Archive data with as wide an audience as possible.

We are currently preparing and organising the content for long form and short form videos.

We will provide updates here and elsewhere when we're ready to launch ScoleTV.

Support Scole Archive

Curating and freely sharing a massive digital archive is not actually free.

Since 1998, we have given our unconditional support to this project.

However, an estimated ten-fold increase in archival data between 2023 and 2025 means we now regularly dedicate 80 hours a week between us to digitising, indexing, and formatting these records.

In 2026 alone, we have invested over £5,000 from our personal savings to upgrade our computer systems to process this content, alongside further significant expenses for ScoleTV videography equipment, hosting, digital subscriptions, audio-cleaning, travel, and other costs.

We do not wish to rely on conditional funding from institutional or private donors.

We believe the data from The Scole Experiment is too important for outside influence or paywalls, and that it must remain freely accessible for future generations.

If you value this archive and our commitment to open access, and would like to help sustain this work without strings attached, any contribution you can make will be gratefully received and deeply appreciated.
